Parish Festival 2012
Dear friends,
Our traditional All Souls Parish Festival this year is designed with the theme “Under the Sea”. The weekend is meticulously packed with lots of games, food and activities. More details will follow in a few months from now. Please check the "All Souls Parish Festival 2012 Booklet" for more details.
We continue with a Carnival celebration with tons of outdoor rides, games, food stalls, a cake booth contest, an art contest, and indoor amusement games for people of all ages. Advance Ride tickets are sold at reduced prices for a limited time. In addition please enjoy a few highlights:
· The Club 50/50, where one half of the pot will be equally split between three lucky winners and the other half will go to the Parish needs.
· The Main Awards Grand Raffle for you: with prizes
You will find the ‘drawing’ schedules for each of these raffles at the end of this brochure. It has been the endeavor of the festival Committee core group to make this weekend, an occasion of great fun and laughter.
Please accept our sincere gratitude and appreciation in advance for your generous efforts to make this weekend a great success; because without you, we could not be a Parish, and there could not be a Parish Festival. So come and join and let us celebrate: on the 5th, 6th & 7th October.
· On October 5: Friday evening, a Family Style Pasta Dinner in the Cafeteria of the School. Come with your family and friends and join the fun!
· On October 6: Saturday, our Young Men’s Institute (Y.M.I.), under the direction of Mike Madrid will cook for you and your friends and treat you to their renowned tasty and mouth savoring signature barbecue.
· On October 7: Sunday, we look forward to see A Surprise Treat: more details of this Dinner will come soon on this very same page.
Tickets for these dinners are on sale as of now. Please buy your tickets in advance and avoid the last moment rush and scramble.
While you enjoy this weekend, you could also help others enjoy theirs: just say a good word or a smile, and you will make their day.
This can go a long way and make friends. You know, it would be very nice and helpful in more ways than one to volunteer and lend a helping hand for this weekend. I urge you to consider this not only to our School Parents, but also to our Religious Education Parents and everyone. If you can help participate and extend your hand in this labor of love please sign up for a few hours during the weekend. It will be very much appreciated. You will see the volunteer form attached here.
Please pass on the good word and
let us fill the cafeteria for the dinners, the Parish Hall and the whole Parish Grounds to its capacity for the fabulous weekend. We can do it!

Nuestro tradicional Festival de la Parroquia All Souls este año esta designado con el tema de “Bajo el Mar” Under the Sea. El fin de semana está lleno de juegos, comida y actividades.
Continuaremos la celebración de carnaval con toneladas de ruedas al aire libre, juegos, puestos de comida, un puesto para la competencia de pasteles, un concurso de arte, y juegos divertidos bajo techo para todas las edades.
Boletos para las ruedas son vendidos por adelantado a precio reducido por tiempo limitado. Además de lo anterior,
· El Club 50/50 Nuevo, donde la mitad del fondo será repartido entre los tres afortunados ganadores y la otra mitad irá para las necesidades de la Parroquia.
· La gran rifa principal, llena de premios.
Usted encontrará el calendario de el sorteo para cada una de las rifas al final de este folleto. Ha sido esfuerzo de el núcleo del grupo del Comité del festival hacer este fin semana, una ocasión de gran diversión y risas.
Favor de aceptar nuestra sincera gratitud y apreciación por adelantado por su generoso esfuerzo para hacer este fin de semana de gran éxito; porque sin usted, no podríamos ser una Parroquia, y no podría haber Festival de la Parroquia. Entonces vengan y únanse y celebremos: el 7, 8 y 9 de Octubre.
· El Viernes, temprano por la noche, 5 de Octubre, una Cena de Pasta Estilo Familia en la Cafetería de la Escuela. Venga con su familia y amigos y únanse a la diversión!
· El Sábado, 6 de Octubre, nuestro Young Men’s Institute (Y.M.I.), bajo las instrucciones de Mike Madrid cocinarán para usted y sus amigos y los deleitarán con su renovada y sabrosa barbacoa.
· El Domingo, 7 de Octubre, esperamos una cena de sorpresa.
Boletos para estas cenas ya están de venta. Favor de comprar sus boletos por adelantado para evitar últimos momentos de apuro y confusión.
Favor de pasar la voz y llenemos la cafetería, el salón de la parroquia y el estacionamiento a su capacidad. Sí podemos!
